Four games meet my selection criteria , one Lay Away and three Back the Draws at the time of writing, I expect this to change before kick off.

I will endeavour to update this post if the odds move so the selected games no longer meet my criteria closer to kick off or any other games become eligible for my selection criteria before they kick off. I have listed the full set of fixtures above.

I will update the Table above with the results and the odds that I managed to get matched at. I place my bets with either the Betfair Exchange or Smarkets.

A number of new teams in the league this year including Schalke after their capitulation last season,  Werder Bremen and my favourites Dynamo Dresden. 

I am hoping the goal scoring continues, over 80% of games last season had over 1.5 goals and over 60% of games had over 2.5 goals.  So I may be adding some Overs bets to my Lay Aways and Back the Draws.  I am sticking with both the Lay Away and Back the Draw systems as I believe they will return to profit.

The Back the Draws have started well with 2 wins out of 2 for the weekend. The Lay Aways have started badly with only 1 win and 3 losses.

Update Sunday 25th 12:00

Well the Lay Away's are continuing their poor form, Schalke were actually slight favourities by kick off. I am pleased by the Werder Bremen draw with Hannover.

Bizzarely none of the selected games have become void so far either.

Initial

The first game of the new system kicks of on Friday night and features Schalke who were relegated last season from the Bundesliga and Hamburg who finished 4th last season and are slight favourities for the game.  This game qualifies as a Lay Away, so we are hoping for Scalke to win or a draw.
